Aeolian Strings is a collection of staff and instruments looking to enhance your musical experience. We have been a family owned-and-operated local business supporting the musicians of Calgary for over 25 years. Headed by Master Luthier Ross Hill, Aeolian Strings is known for it's outstanding quality of instruments at every price range, as well as the highest standard of repairs, restorations, appraisals and advice.
Our store, just off Centre St South and Glenmore Trail, proudly carries a wide range of Violins, Violas and Cellos of all sizes ranging from beginner to professional. You will also find a diverse selection of bows, rosins and accessories to help you get the most from your instrument. We also carry specialty instruments and bows.
Aeolian Strings prides itself in knowledgeability, honesty and helpfulness. Come in any time for a shoulder/chin rest adjustment, open seam repair, or even just to play on our instruments for fun. We always welcome players of all ages and abilities.
In the shop you will meet our capable and friendly staff, Manager Charlene, and local performers who are all ready to help answer any questions you may have. Luthiers Ross Hill and Grace Kang have over 100 years of combined experience, with craftsmanship well known throughout Canada.
